When you are worried and upset, remember only a few things are necessary. I am your provision, peace, and contentment. Your circumstances may change, but I am the same today, tomorrow, and forever. When in need, need me more. When in doubt, do not doubt me. Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth. All that you seek to save will be destroyed, tossed out, and forgotten. Do not waste your time protecting that which thieves will break in and steal.
Instead, store up for yourselves treasures in heaven. Seek the Crown of Life (James 1:12, Revelation 2:10), the Crown of Rejoicing (1 Thessalonians 2:19, Philippians 4:1), the Imperishable Crown (1 Corinthians 9:25-27), the Crown of Righteousness (2 Timothy 4:8), and the Crown of Glory (1 Peter 5:1-4). In addition, pursue the excellence of knowing me intimately (Philippians 3:7-8). Hold fast to what I have already given you so that no one may take your crown. Behold, I am coming. I will arrive without delay (Revelation 3:11)!
If someone wants to sue you, let him. You cannot serve both God and Money. When I came, I owned neither a home nor belongings, and yet through me all things were created. Ask for my perspective on worldly matters. Do not worry. Your quiet confidence will draw others to me.
When you are asked to testify about me, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. Take a moment and pray. Be patient. Do not speak hastily. Recall my words. That’s why I caused those I love to preserve my commands and promises, praise, and prayers. When you speak, it will not be you testifying, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.
I can count the very hairs on your head. That is how closely I walk with you. What seems impossible for you is solved with a word from me. Give thanks for seven loaves and two fish. Give thanks in all circumstances for all things. I am your provision. I am enough.
