From Heaven’s Throne

Christmas greeting cards . . . we can find thousands of boxes with just as many designs and sentiments. Along the rows of Christmas greeting cards we’ll also see a few boxed Thank You cards and notes for the Christmas season.

Thank you space-764312_640. . . we thank others for their gifts, food, service, help and that’s all fine and good, but as Christians we need to stop and thank our Heavenly Father for the greatest gift of all, His Son Jesus Christ.

AND . . . we need to thank Jesus. Think about it, He left Heaven’s Throne where He kept company with God Almighty and all the heavenly beings to be born in a feeding trough. He did that for us. Hstar-1861950_1280e did that for me.

What would you write on a thank you card to thank the One who left the spendor of heaven to be born on this dusty earth, live, and then die on a rugged cross so that you could one day join Him and experience that same heaven?

I love you Lord Jesus, just wouldn’t be enough, but that’s what my heart sings this year. Jesus, I love you and thank you for leaving Heaven’s Throne for me.
