Crowned in Gentleness, Imparting Grace

The quiet hush of the dawn distanced itself from the harsh winds of the storm, blanketing the earth in gentleness. Sunlight filtered through the leaves — morning light sparkling like diamonds midst a setting of emeralds on the old juniper.

The storm had passed.

Peace had resumed.

A Lesson in Gentleness

God’s grace, beauty, and faithfulness surrounded me. Even though my spirit grew weary — I knew His love remained.

gentleness in flightI watched as a swallowtail with wings of gold, etched in stained-glass settled upon a lilac and I couldn’t help but wonder, Was this butterfly frightened by the storm? Was her home tossed about by the wind and rain? Surely her wings so strong, yet oh so gentle, felt the impact of the storm.

But here she was, rising with confidence, revealing her beauty to the world around.

The butterfly showed strength in her purpose, gentleness in her flight — the very essence of grace.

For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. Psalm 84:11(NKJV)

Lord, let me also rise with confidence from the storm, revealing the colors of Your Spirit within me. Let my life radiate the essence of grace — Your grace so amazing, so sufficient. Let my journey be crowned with gentleness in the face of offense. Where there is hatred, let me sow love. Where there is despair, let me sow hope. Where there is sorrow, let me sow joy.

Walk in Gentleness. Impart Grace

Walk as light bearers for such a time as this.

Walk in gentleness. Impart grace.

God’s grace that draws others to Him.
