Your Pep Talk

Be encouraged! Take heart! While it may seem that the world has blind-sided you today lookout! You’re coming back around.

Your Pep TalkSometimes in life, we need pep talks. Aptly spoken words that lend us the courage to get back on the bike, up in the saddle, on the field and down off a ledge.

Today is your day, I have one for you.

They don’t know who they’re messing with. This “they” could be anyone; your family, your boss, the school PTA, your kids teacher, your neighbor, old friend, coworker or even enemy.

They could also be anything; the mess in the kitchen, the unfinished homework or work project, an impending deadline, the unruly front yard, troublesome vehicle, a point of fear or the never-ending pile of laundry. It matters not.

I know this, because we have only begun to find the strength that is within us. How can they possibly know what we’re capable of when we are barely scratching the surface ourselves?!

A strength dwells within that you haven’t even tapped into yet. You have the ability to go farther, faster and bigger than you have gone before.

Your Pep TalkThere will always be excuses to why something can’t be done. But don’t lower your perspective of yourself. Keep learning, keep growing and focus your attention on the brightest of things. What was impossible yesterday may be possible today, even doable or enjoyable, or … easy!

Things change when we don’t give up. When we persevere. If it seems like all is lost and you are at the end, don’t give up and things will change. If you’re going through hell, keep going, you’ll get through. Stare yourself in the mirror and remind that person of what you have overcome to get here. You are a fighter. You are a success story and you’re not even done yet!

And the best news of all? No matter what you face, you’re never alone.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified – for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.  Be strong and courageous (yes sometimes we need to hear it again) The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Deuteronomy 31:6-8
