It’s often said that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. But what if the Lord is the beholder? What if the beauty has been fashioned by His hand like the potter and the clay, using the ashes of our difficulties and the morning dew of His grace?

Beauty born of ashes speaks of things eternal.
Beauty born of ashes bears the sweet aroma of Christ.
Perhaps beauty born of ashes looks a lot like Jesus — the difficulty transforms and exemplifies His peace, overflows with His love and magnifies His Name. It’s the picture of restoration and redemption where the crown of thorns becomes a golden crown of the Kingdom.
Broken exchanged for healing.
Sorrow exchanged for joy.
Despair exchanged for hope.

That’s what God’s covenant is — an exchange of a life ravaged by the enemy of our soul for His life of abundance — abundance resembling beauty crowned with peace, joy, hope, and love. Because of His great love we no longer must succumb to the enemy when he comes to steal, kill, and destroy us because we belong to the Lord our God, the Beholder of our beauty.
It is the Lord who creates beauty from ashes.
The Beholder.
Has your life been ravaged by the enemy? Are you overcome by sorrow? Loss? Despair? Together, we can stand on the Word of God and His promises for you. Yes! Together, as the Body of Christ. You are not alone. He promises “He will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for His own glory.” ~ Isaiah 61:3, NLT
Blessed be the Name of the Lord!
