Jesus Hiding In Your Heart

Blessed are those who hunger for a pure heart. Blessed are those who thirst for righteousness.

There must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed among God’s holy people. For from within a man’s heart comes evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance, and folly. All these evils come from inside a man and make him unclean. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking.

Anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her. If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. If your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. Be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Men love darkness because their deeds were evil. What you say in the dark will be heard in the daylight. What you have whispered in the ear within inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs. Therefore act honestly in all your dealings. Whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. If you have not been trustworthy with someone else’s property, who will give you property of your own? There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed. There is nothing hidden that will not be made known.

Therefore seek to present yourself as radiant, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless before God.
