Jesus As Our Daily Bread

Jesus Our Daily Bread

Jesus As Our Daily Bread

Listen closely to my Father’s words, for they are life to those who find them and health to your whole body (Proverbs 4:22). Guard your heart. Your heart is the wellspring of life (Proverbs 4:23).

When I took the five loaves, gave thanks, and broke them, everyone ate and was satisfied. There were even leftovers for the servers. And when I took the seven loaves, gave thanks, and broke them, all ate and were full. Again, there were leftovers.

You live by every word that comes from the mouth of my Father. When you are careful to follow His every word, you live and enjoy the increase and the blessings of His promises.

The bread I give you is my body broken for you (Mark 14:22). I am my Father’s word made flesh. I am the fullness of my Father. If you know me, you know the Father. I am the fullness of my Father’s grace. Through me from Him, you receive one blessing after another (John 1). I am the bread of life.

In the same way, the loaves and fishes multiplied until all were full and satisfied, so in me, the bread of life, blessings upon blessings will be multiplied and you will enjoy until you are full.

I did not come to give you scraps. I came to give you life and life abundantly in me.—Jesus
