I give you a new heart. I put a new spirit in you. I remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh so that you may walk in my statutes, keep my commands, and obey them. Therefore, ask, “Create in me a clean heart, O Lord, and renew a right spirit within me.” (Ezekiel 36:26; 11:19-20; Psalm 51:10)
My word is seed.
The seed that falls on good soil refers to someone who hears my Father’s word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty, or thirty times what was sown. (Matthew 13:23)
Break up your hard heart. Do not sow among thorns. Sow righteousness. Reap the fruit of unfailing love. Seek the LORD until He comes and showers you with His righteousness. Get rid of all moral filth and every wicked, evil thing. Accept the word planted in you. His word saves you. His word gives you life, health, and abundance. (Jeremiah 4:3; Hosea 10:12; James 1:21)
A New Creation
If anyone is in Me, he is a new creation. He has a new heart. This is the start of the new you. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. By my Father’s word and Holy Spirit, He will circumcise your heart so that you will love Him with all your heart and with all your soul. Then you will truly live. (2 Corinthians 5:17; Deuteronomy 30:6) – Jesus
