Grace Saves Us

My Father gives the Holy Spirit to those who ask, So ask and be clothed with my Spirit and I will baptize you with power from on high.

If you have my Spirit, you are under grace, not the law. With my Spirit in you, sin does not rule over you. You are set free from the law of sin!

While you were living in the flesh, your sinful passions were at work in our members to bear fruit for death, but if you are in my Spirit sin has no power over you!

Live according to my Spirit. Set your minds on the things of the Spirit. My Spirit is life and peace. Those who live by my Spirit please my Father.

Pray: Lord, your Holy Spirit is in me. Sin has no control over me. When I sin now, it’s by choice, not force. Amen.

Pirate Preacher

The Pirate Preacher is part of "Team Jesus" with Christ' Church at Moore Square. On Monday nights he leads a "Jesus Study" in Moore Square. Each Sunday between 12:30 and 1:30 the Pirate Preacher and others, gather in the park to hand out food, water, and other items that add to the abundant life Jesus promised.
