Artist of the Month– Erin Jamieson

When Erin’s manager sent us one of her songs, we were so impressed that we had to make her Inspire’s Artist of the Month. We’ve heard lots of budding musicians, but this lovely artist stood heads above. We fully expect this young lady to make a big name for herself in the Christian music industry. Do yourself a favor and check out her itunes page, (http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/without-the-dark-ep/id495372731) and have a listen. We think you’ll agreed that we’ve stumbled upon a real talent! “When I was 9-years-old, a spark exploded inside me — the moment I wrote my first song — and that song would steer my life in a whole new direction.”   Erin

In August 2011, Erin Jamieson took a big leap into her journey toward a dream.  She performed on Lifeway’s stage in North Carolina and earned the national titles Talent Winner and Songwriter Winner at the Gideon Media Arts Conference & Film Festival at the annual Christian event sponsored by Lifeway.  Soon after, Erin was signed for a 4-song EP with Lamon Records and Dave Moody, a Grammy nominated and Dove Award winning producer.

At her recent release concert, Erin performed several original songs including the title track from her EP “Without the Dark” and the song that started it all titled “Hope for the Broken.” A special thanks to the band — J.C. Lippold, Jon Russell, Kyle Johnson, Grant Elbert, Jane Allison and Dallas O’Brien — and sister, Alex, on vocals for an inspiring and refreshing evening of music and fun.

“This is an exciting time and I feel so privileged to have this opportunity to introduce my music with such generous, talented and friendly people!”
