An Oracle of Balaam — For the Last Days

An Oracle of Balaam — For the Last Days

An Oracle of Balaam — For the Last Days

Numbers 24:15–17

Then he spoke his message:
“The prophecy of Balaam son of Beor, the prophecy of one whose eye sees clearly.

The prophecy of one who hears the words of God,
who has knowledge from the Most High,
who sees a vision from the Almighty,
who falls prostrate, and whose eyes are opened:

I see Him, but not now;
I behold Him, but not near.
A star will come out of Jacob;
a scepter will rise out of Israel.

He will crush the foreheads of Jacob’s enemies,
The skulls of those who shout lies from high places—the rulers, the scribes, and the mockers of God
The nations will be conquered, but Israel will grow strong.
A ruler comes out of Jacob and destroy the survivors of her enemies.

For the scepter is the Son—
born in Bethlehem, raised in Nazareth,
crucified in Jerusalem, risen in glory.

He came as the Lamb, but will return as a Lion.

The nations rage and gather together (Psalm 2:1–3) for Jacob’s destruction.
They surround Jerusalem like wolves, but He who sits in the heavens laughs (Psalm 2:4).
For out of Zion shall come the Deliverer (Romans 11:26).
With His mouth he will vanquish His foes (Isaiah 11:4).

The Son of Man will descend on the clouds with power and great glory (Matthew 24:30).
His robe will be dipped in blood (Revelation 19:13), and on His thigh is written:

KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS (Revelation 19:16).
He will strike the nations with a rod of iron,
and with the breath of His mouth He will slay the wicked (2 Thessalonians 2:8).

His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives (Zechariah 14:4),
and it will split from east to west.
He will gather the outcasts of Israel (Isaiah 11:12)
and reign from Jerusalem forever.

He did not come to bring peace, but a sword (Matthew 10:34).

He came to turn brother against brother, father against son (Mark 13:12).
The love for God of many will grow cold (Matthew 24:12).
Jacob will stand alone, but the Lord is his strong right hand (Isaiah 41:10–11)

The One who was rejected will be received (Matthew 23:39).
The One pierced will be mourned (Zechariah 12:10).
He will rise to defend Jacob, and with His own arm He will fight for them (Isaiah 59:16; Zechariah 14:3).

Blessed is Israel, whose Defender does not slumber (Psalm 121:4).
Blessed are those who bless her (Numbers 24:9).
Cursed are those who curse her (Genesis 12:3).

And now, the nations conspire—not with spears, but with votes.
Not with armies, but with condemnation.
Not with swords, but with judgment.
Not with false prophets, but with the Prince of Darkness.

Nations are in league; they embolden Jacob’s enemies.
They wring their hands in contrition, but falsely prophesy her atrocities.

They refuse to trade with Jacob but feed her foes.
They call for peace but seek his destruction.
They praise his enemies for their endurance,
yet condemn Jacob for his defense.

They cry “Justice!” but do not know the One who is Justice.
They shout “Freedom!” but do not know the One who sets all free.
They claim to stand for “human rights,”
but seek to reward those who act in inhuman ways.

In doing so, they align with the sons of rebellion
and go the way of Cain, Korah, and Balaam (Jude 1:11).
They are children of violence,
and the sons of the father of lies (John 8:44).

An Oracle of Balaam:
A modern-day oracle in the voice of Balaam, drawing from biblical prophecy to reveal how nations today side with Israel’s enemies and will fall like Moab.

His Caribbean Chronicles is a humorous time-travel pirate fantasy adventure series. The Caden Chronicles series is wholesome, humorous reading with a flair for unexpected adventure. Each story has a spooky but spiritual message based on real "monsters" found in Scripture. Hints at werewolves, ghosts, mediums, vampires, walking dead, mummies, demons, witches, and phantoms are all mentioned in the Bible, but are they real? Nick Caden doesn't think so. In each episode he sets out to prove who the real killer is. https://eddiejones.org https://coolghoulgazette.com https://caribbeanchronicles.com https://writerscoach.us
